Job Description
Are you interested in joining a fast-paced Global Procurement Organization team focused on Amazon Operations? By joining the Site Procurement Operations Team, you will have the opportunity to lead and deliver strategic Procurement projects for our internal Business Partners at local, regional, national, and European levels.
As a Site Procurement Manager, you will work in a team environment with internal Amazon stakeholders, diverse Procurement peers, and external vendors to procure value-adding solutions for the Business. You will be part of a cross-functional team within one of our logistics sites, acting as a strategic Business Partner. Your role will involve driving continuous improvement, innovation, legal and supply risk prevention, and sustainability through your Procurement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Understand business needs, analyze requirements, and make recommendations. Manage complex projects with high spends, risks, confidentiality, and tight deadlines across multiple sites.
2. Build effective stakeholder relationships, analyze scope, negotiate with vendors on costs, lead times, and other key elements for projects at various levels.
3. Utilize applications and systems for accurate metrics, reporting, and data analysis, including supplier performance metrics.
4. Lead the Site Procurement Operations Process from needs detection to contracting and implementation, including sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, and risk assessment, using tools like Coupa (ERP).
5. Create and execute contractual agreements, ensuring vendor compliance and managing contracts through CLM.
6. Support national and EU-wide procurement projects such as tenders, cost optimization, and sustainability initiatives, collaborating with Global Procurement Teams and Finance.
7. Manage and ensure governance on Supplier Performance, lead meetings such as MBR/QBR, and oversee invoicing and payment processes.
8. Act as Subject Matter Expert for a local category, identify savings opportunities, perform spend analysis, and support strategy development.
9. Work with internal stakeholders to incorporate Amazon's sustainability goals and ensure CSR compliance.
10. Contribute to strategic EU-wide cross-functional teams and initiatives.
11. Meet KPIs related to savings, financial metrics, sustainability, and compliance.
12. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, educate stakeholders, and lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
13. Potentially extend SME responsibilities to EU scope and provide training to other Buyers.

Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or significant Procurement experience.
* Experience in a Procurement environment.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Experience in sourcing, contract management, or similar roles.
* Negotiation and contract management skills.
* Fluent in English and local language.
Preferred Qualifications
* Degree focused on Procurement or Supply Chain.
* Experience in a large, global, matrixed organization.
* CIPS/EIPM accreditation or equivalent.
* Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Coupa.
* Ability to manage multiple complex projects and stakeholders.
* Self-motivated, customer-centric, and analytical.
* Experience in Supplier Relationship Management.
