We are seeking a Senior Application Engineer to join our intralogistics automation team. In this role, you will actively gather and understand customer requirements, provide innovative solutions, and support the end-to-end sales process. You will assess the economic feasibility of projects, define required resources, and ensure solutions meet both client expectations and internal standards.
This is a hands-on, technical, and customer-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys working on complex automation projects and contributing to solutions from concept through delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct requirements analysis to capture customer needs
* Provide guidance and instructions for data analysis and interpret results
* Prepare technical description reports, including assessment of materials, assembly, transport, and project margins
* Design layouts using AutoCAD and provide graphic support using NavisWorks
* Perform economic assessment and budgeting of projects
* Request and manage bids from internal and external suppliers
* Contribute to solution design and provide technical support for project management
* Prepare and present projects internally
* Collaborate with sales and project teams to present final proposals to clients, including budget details
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or similar Engineering
* Equivalent experience in a similar technical role will also be considered
* Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD layout design
* Familiarity with NavisWorks, TeamCenter, Siemens NX is an advantage
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* 2–3 years in a similar position, ideally within intralogistics, automation, or material handling
Languages:
* Fluency in Spanish or Catalan is required
* High level of English essential
