Job Summary:
The Front Desk Officer serves as the first point of contact for guests at Hotel101 Madrid and plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role requires a service-oriented, detail-focused professional who is highly organized, proactive, and knowledgeable about hotel facilities, services, and local information. The Front Desk Officer ensures smooth front office operations by handling guest check-ins and check-outs, responding to inquiries efficiently, and upholding Hotel101’s service standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first and last impression
• Perform check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly with a high level of professionalism and discretion
• Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel facilities, services, policies, and local attractions to assist guests effectively
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met
• Process reservations, room assignments, and payments in accordance with hotel procedures
• Maintain accurate guest records and ensure proper documentation is completed
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and billing inquiries responsibly
• Ensure the front desk area is organized, presentable, and compliant with hotel standards.
• Adhere to all security, safety, and data privacy policies
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a front desk, guest services, or customer service role, preferably in the
hospitality industry
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized, proactive, and dependable
• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Ability to remain calm and professional when handling guest concerns or high-pressure situations
• Familiarity with hotel management systems is an advantage
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Fluency in Spanish is required; additional languages (especially English) are an advantage
