Job Description We are seeking to recruit an excellent abogado/a with between 1 and 2 years of professional experience in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice area of a prestigious law firm to join our Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in Madrid.

The Work Clifford Chance has one of Spain’s leading disputes practices. We advise clients on complex civil and commercial matters, with a strong focus on risk assessment, strategic case management and efficient resolution. Our team acts before Spain’s civil and contentious‑administrative courts and arbitral tribunals, and has deep expertise in commercial and financial litigation, restructuring and insolvency, and domestic and international arbitration. We also support clients on compliance, regulatory investigations and enforcement, including the design and implementation of robust compliance programmes. Our Barcelona office is renowned for its intellectual property capability across both contentious and advisory work.
The Team Our Litigation & Dispute Resolution team in Madrid, comprising three partners (all leading practitioners in their field), one senior counsel, one counsel and seven associates, has been consistently highly ranked over the years.
Qualifications We would like to hear from outstanding Spanish abogados with between 1 and 2 years of professional experience in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice area of a prestigious law firm to join our Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in Madrid.
Fluent command of both oral and written English, an excellent academic record and experience dealing with international clients.
Technically rigorous, first‑class drafting ability, highly developed analytical and project‑management skills, and a common‑sense approach to resolving issues.
Proactive, client‑focused, service‑oriented, even when under pressure.
Flexible and creative in approach, excellent team‑player, capable of developing constructive working relationships with colleagues and clients alike, contributing enthusiastically, confidently and effectively in group situations and discussions.
