DescriptionWorkday Payroll Implementation Consultant – International – Contractor.
This role involves partnering with Enverus' international payroll team across the United Kingdom, Spain, Czech Republic, Singapore, Australia, and India to support the implementation of Workday HCM/Payroll. The consultant will review, validate, and help prepare country‐specific configurations for the upcoming go‐live date, working closely with both internal stakeholders and outside implementation partners.
What You'll Do
Review and provide feedback on country‐specific Workday Payroll configurations with the internal regional payroll team.
Assist in evaluating and ensuring accurate configuration of earnings, deductions, pay frequencies, payroll calendars, and statutory payment types for each jurisdiction.
Help validate and refine compliance settings for the UK, Spain, Czech Republic, Singapore, Australia, and India, ensuring alignment with Enverus payroll practices.
Participate in parallel payroll testing and gross‐to‐net reconciliation activities across all countries.
Support UAT test script review and defect tracking through the resolution process.
Help develop internal documentation and job aids to enable the Enverus team to manage the system post go‐live.
Advise on internal controls, including role‐based access design and approval workflow validation, to meet Enverus' control requirements before go‐live.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of international Workday Payroll implementation experience across multiple countries.
Hands‐on familiarity with Workday Payroll configuration, build, and parallel testing in the UK, Spain, Czech Republic, Singapore, Australia, and India.
Working knowledge of statutory payroll compliance in the covered jurisdictions.
Experience with multi‐country parallel payroll testing, reconciliation, and UAT processes.
Workday Payroll certification preferred;
recent demonstrable project experience may substitute for certification.
Understanding of role‐based security and approval workflow design as it relates to payroll audit and compliance.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills for interacting with in‐country payroll stakeholders.
Nice to Have
Proficiency in Spanish and/or Czech languages.
Experience supporting payroll implementations for mid‐market to enterprise companies (200–2,000 international employees).
Familiarity with Workday Global Payroll Connect and Cloudpay for countries with third‐party payroll processing.
Knowledge of data privacy requirements (GDPR, PDPA, Privacy Act) as they pertain to payroll data.
Prior experience as an embedded consultant supporting internal teams alongside a system integrator.
Engagement DetailsThis is a contractor/project‐based engagement, not a benefits‐eligible full‐time position.
Remote;
aligned to project timezones across EU and APAC. Anticipated hours: 15–20 hours per week, variable by project phase.
