- Role Purpose:_
This role is essential for ensuring the proper organization and handling of goods, materials, and products within a store or storage facility. Here's a sample Junior Storekeeper Profile:
- Key Accountability:_
- Assist in managing the inventory of tools and materials, as well as in audits by helping reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Support the implementation of inventory control systems and procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize losses or damage.
- Assist in regular checks to verify the condition and availability of tools and materials.
- Help ensure proper storage of all tools and materials.
- Facilitate the process of thoroughly recording and reviewing the check-in and check-out of tools and materials for maintenance personnel.
- Collaborate with the production department in maintaining (cleaning) the vehicle fleet.
- Working Experience & Qualification:_
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, retail, or inventory management role is a plus.
- Familiarity with safety standards in handling and storing goods is an advantage
- Good numeracy skills for stock counting and record-keeping.
