What are we looking for?
~ 10+ years in data engineering, including 2+ years hands-on as data architect .~ Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, using them as core languages to design, implement, and optimize data processing logic, transformations, and analytical workloads across large datasets.~ Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms on AWS, GCP, or Azure, including the design of scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data architectures leveraging native managed services.~ Solid understanding of data pipeline design, including ETL/ELT patterns, batch and streaming workloads, and the principles behind distributed systems to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.~ Proven experience in data modelling and schema design, covering conceptual, logical, and physical models, as well as integration patterns for interoperability across heterogeneous systems and domains.~ Exposure to modern data architectures such as medallion architectures, event-driven systems, or similar paradigms, applied to build modular, decoupled, and analytics-ready data platforms (nice to have).
