Responsibilities
* Identify high-potential transformation deals within your areas of expertise and lead or contribute to multiple sales cycles.
* Drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, acquiring, and developing new and fast-growing business with direct clients in your area of expertise.
* Collaborate with partners to drive new business.
* Build and manage a pipeline for growth, including statements of work and contracts.
* Interact with Avanade’s new and current clients, gain referrals, and build trust-based relationships that open doors and close deals.
* Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions, offerings, and service penetration.
What You’ll Do
* Be focused on one or more areas of expertise (Financial Services & Insurance, Resources, Products, Telco & Media, Public Sector) within Avanade’s sectors.
* Identify opportunities and drive the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to closing.
* Develop and grow a book of business with direct clients, and collaborate with partners to expand reach.
* Prepare and negotiate statements of work and contracts to close deals.
* Engage with clients to build trust-based relationships and gain referrals.
* Stay informed about market conditions and competitor offerings.
Skills and Experiences / Qualifications
* Experience selling across multiple solution areas (Apps & Infra, Modern Workplace, Biz Apps, Data & AI), preferably enterprise-scale consulting engagements including global delivery within the Resources Industry.
* Experience working with Microsoft and other partners to grow a book of business.
* Experience anticipating, identifying, and applying fast, effective solutions to remove roadblocks.
* Success as a business development hunter with sophisticated closure capabilities.
* Ability to act as a trusted advisor and address client business needs.
* Experience driving sales in a solutions-selling environment at the C-suite level.
