Our main production plant and offices (HQ) are in Sant Just Desvern (Barcelona). Ventós presence is worldwide: Ventós Brazil, Ventós China, Ventós Colombia, Ventós Grasse, Ventós Mexico, Ventós Singapore, Ventós USA and Ventós Indonesia. Currently, we are looking to strengthen our team in Ventós Barcelona by adding a Quality Control Technician.
Responsibilities:
Perform quality control analysis on essential oils and aroma chemicals
Carry out chemical tests according to internal specifications and industry standars
Conduct organoleptic evaluations (taste and smell analysis)
Operate and interpret results using GC-FID and GC-MS instruments
Participate in the development, validation, and maintenance of analytical methods for gas chromatography
Collaborate with the Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure product traceability and compliance
Prepare reports, certificates, and documentation related to quality control
Support the implementation of continuous improvement processes within the QA department
Profile:

Degree in Chemistry or related scientific field
Desirable: Master’s degree or proven expertise in Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry
Expertise in the Flavour and Fragance industry is a strong asset
Familiarity with quality standards and analytical protocols in the chemical or cosmetics sector is valued
Solid knowledge of organic and analytical chemistry
Experience or interest in natural substances, chemical synthesis, and analytical method development
High level of English is a must
Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently
Team spirit, flexibility and proactive attitude
