Logistics Specialist- Tarragona/Barcelona
We are looking for a proactive and organized Junior Logistics Specialist to support the daily logistics operations for MG Motor in Spain. The selected candidate will assist in vehicle flow coordination, compound organization, and damage management, ensuring smooth communication between the logistics team, compounds, transport partners, and dealerships.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the supply and sales team to prepare accurate arrival forecast.
* Conduct detailed arrival and vehicles turn‑around planning to ensure smooth operations and optimize the contractual space.
* Support the organization and control of vehicle movements within the compound, including reception, inspection, storage, and dispatch.
* Ensure vehicles are correctly positioned, tracked, and prepared for delivery to dealerships.
* Maintain updated records of stock levels and vehicle status in coordination with compound teams.
* Daily coordination with suppliers to ensure set KPIs are met.
* Assist in identifying, reporting, and tracking vehicle damages.
* Coordinate with workshops, inspection agencies, and transport providers to ensure timely repair and reporting.
* Maintain damage records and prepare regular summaries for management review.
* Follow up with the insurance and quality teams when required.
* Act as point of contact for dealerships regarding vehicle deliveries, damage reports, and logistics updates.
