Mission
The Commercial Excellence Analysis Manager is responsible for increasing sales effectiveness through the analysis of in-field performance across Almirall affiliates. This role provides analytics support across the Commercial Excellence team, specifically in the development of dashboards and advanced analytics using complex and large sets of information and synthesizing it into clear insights supporting different projects within the area. The role requires good interpersonal skills and the ability to work transversally with colleagues in global CommEx and other global teams such as marketing, medical and IT. The role will report to the Executive Director of Global Commercial Excellence.
Responsibilities
* Define and implement specific analysis across countries on commercial excellence topics, such as advanced analytics on performance of local teams, creation of new dashboards, and performance tracking tools.
* Extract information of corporate commercial tools at local/global level (Veeva, Power BI, etc.) to support analysis and potential improvement recommendations.
* Participate in different analytics projects across the area to support both global and local needs.
* Understand best practices in the Commercial Excellence area to provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
* Support the definition of global standards in Commercial Excellence topics across support global functions, within CommEx, and also global marketing and medical teams, to define and deliver on Commercial Excellence needs for key strategic brands.
Required Profile
* Bachelor’s degree required. Graduate degree in a healthcare, business or economic field preferred.
* Experience: 1‑3 years of professional experience in the life sciences environment, specifically in the pharmaceutical industry and/or related strategic consulting services, sufficient to have developed a good understanding of the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Good project management capabilities.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Capacity to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
* Proficiency with MS 365 tools and environment.
* Proficient in English.
* Familiarity with data visualization tools, specifically Power BI/Fabric.
* Ideally knowledge of Commercial Excellence / sales effectiveness concepts, tools and processes (sales performance metrics, targeting & segmentation, etc.) and pharmaceutical commercial processes (sales, sampling, etc.) and data.
* Ideally good knowledge of Veeva and/or Salesforce.com tools and data models.
