Life Sciences | Eraneos - SpainRole OverviewWe are seeking a Lead Business Analyst with expertise in Veeva Vault Clinical Operations (ClinOps) to join our delivery team. The role involves leading Business Process and Requirements Engineering activities within the Vault ClinOps Product Team, including requirement gathering, user story definition, risk assessments, and informal testing support for modules such as CTMS, eTMF, SSU, and Site Connect.The consultant will act as a functional lead, collaborating with offshore BAs and ensuring stakeholder alignment, high-quality deliverables, and consistent service delivery across releases. Strong expertise in clinical trial operations, stakeholder management, and experience managing similar services in global pharma environments is essential.This position is based in Spain, with hybrid work arrangement and occasional remote collaboration with global teams.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Process and Requirements Engineering Lead requirement gathering sessions with capability owners and key stakeholders.Define, draft, and refine User Stories, User Requirements (URS), and Risk Assessments in JIRA.Ensure traceability, testability, and compliance (e.G., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) of business requirements.Service Ownership amp; Release ContributionLead Business Process and Requirements Engineering contributions across formal Veeva and custom release cycles (incl. informal testing support).Ensure collaboration and alignment across Veeva Configuration, Validation, Training, and Product teams.Track deliverables and proactively manage dependencies, blockers, and escalations.Team Leadership amp; Stakeholder ManagementOversee and mentor a team of nearshore Business Analysts.Serve as main point of contact for client stakeholders regarding Business Process and Requirements Engineering scope and progress.Align with Business Capability Leads, Product Owners, and Service Managers to ensure service quality and continuous improvement.Process amp; Documentation ExcellencePromote and apply best practices in drafting stories and requirements (e.G., INVEST, regulatory alignment).Support informal testing cycles with test data setup and issue triaging.Contribute to training materials and formal validation coordination as needed.Required Skills and Qualifications7+ years of experience in Business Analysis within Clinical Operations.Strong expertise with Veeva Vault ClinOps modules: CTMS, eTMF, SSU, Site Connect.Demonstrated experience running or complementing a managed Business Process and Requirements Engineering service.Prior experience drafting requirements in JIRA, and conducting risk assessments.Fluent in English, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience managing BA teams and working with cross-functional global teams.Knowledge of GCP and clinical regulatory compliance is essential.Preferred QualificationsPrior consulting experience with global pharma companies.Veeva Vault White Belt / Associate Admin Certification.Hands-on experience supporting Veeva release cycles and informal testing coordination.Familiarity with KPI governance in managed service models.Work ArrangementLocation: Spain (Remote/Hybrid in Alcobendas).Travel: Occasional travel depending on project needs.At Eraneos, we are committed to respecting diversity and equal opportunities.
