Job Summary
Analyze the quality of databases (sales, consumption, forecasts) in order to improve demand forecasting accuracy in specific geographies. Manage part of the demand process within the monthly S&OP cycle, working closely with Marketing teams across different affiliates. Participate in the development of performance indicators
Key Accountabilities
• Learn about and support the understanding of different statistical models related to future customer demand forecasting.
• Play an active role in the monthly S&OP process.
• Become familiar with historical databases related to consumption, sales, and forecasts.
• Participate in demand review meetings with different countries or regions to improve forecast accuracy.
• Support teams in the implementation strategy of performance indicators.
• Work with databases and compare different forecasting models.
• Collaborate with different supply planners, gaining exposure to the specific characteristics of each business unit.
Networking/Key relationships This role involves communication with key stakeholders, including: Marketing, Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, Finance, Warehouse, and Customer Service.
Minimum Knowledge:
• Education: Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, or Supply Chain (business or technical background)
Advanced level of English is required.
Skills:
Strong familiarity with analytical tools (advanced Excel skills are required).
Knowledge of additional data management or analytical tools such as Minitab, Python, and Power BI is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
