The Alpega Group is looking for an Events Manager – Digital Transport Platform (SaaS). This role will be part of the marketing organization in Alpega, and it will be based in Barcelona.

WHO ARE WE

Alpega Group is a Digital Transport Platform that delivers end-to-end logistics capability for both Shippers and Carriers. Alpega includes three other brands: Teleroute, Wtransnet, and 123 Cargo, three leading digital freight exchange platforms operating across Europe.

As we expand our footprint across different markets in Europe — each with distinct user behaviour, platform maturity and competitive pressure — events form a critical element of our go-to-market campaigns and require a high level of operational planning and management to ensure they sync with our over-arching campaigns, generate leads for our commercial organization (both carrier & shipper) and grow the reputation of our brand in the market.


ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an Individual Contributor role, but it requires teamwork and cross-functional collaboration. Based in our Barcelona office, this role will encompass the planning and execution of specific Alpega events, embracing the strategy for both shippers and carriers across Europe.

You'll be part of a multi-functional marketing team working alongside one other Events Manager and reporting to the Director of Growth. This role needs close collaboration with all functions within marketing, a close alliance with the sales team, and an ability to work with third parties, negotiate with suppliers, and manage projects with transparent communication.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide strategic input into the overall events calendar and recommend new opportunities. Collaboratively align on the events calendar with sales & marketing stakeholders to ensure 12 months of advance visibility of committed events.
* Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships for each event. Commission sponsorships with event organizers, select booth locations, align on production needs, pre-empt specific needs well in advance, and ensure contracts, statements of work, purchase orders, and event budgets are kept up to date and accurate.
* Develop and oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of events (virtual and in-person) targeting both shipper and carrier audiences, ensuring full visibility and cross-functional integration.
* Define event objectives and ensure sales & marketing align on "what looks good".
* Ensure strong branding and messaging consistency across all event materials and touchpoints, coordinating with Growth & Sales on the event theme and with C&C for the design look and feel.
* Track KPIs and deliver post-event analysis and reporting hand in hand with a dedicated RevOps event analyst.
* Ensure seamless logistics and an excellent attendee experience through pre-event briefings, on-site management, and post-event retrospectives.


WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU

* 3–5 years of experience in event management
* Proven experience managing B2B events across Europe
* Excellent project management and organizational skills
* Strong communication and team collaboration capabilities
* Fluent in English; Spanish is a must
* Based in Barcelona
* Experience working for a tech or SaaS company is ideal (but not mandatory)
