The Medical Director will provide medical support and medical advice for clinical trials and safety evaluation within the Pharmacovigilance department.A day in the Life :
Provide medical leadership to study teams, including creating clinical trial protocols, reviewing and approving study documents, and contributing to site selection.Real-time medical monitoring of clinical studies to ensure validity and safety, and proactively address issues.Support protocol review, liaise with internal groups, and serve as the chief liaison between sponsor and internal departments during all study phases.Educate investigator sites and handle day-to-day activities during clinical trials to resolve issues and answer queries.Act as the medical point of contact for stakeholders, including interacting with investigators, IRBs, and Health Authorities.Ensure study compliance with SOPs and GCP.Collaborate with cross-functional team members to clarify medical risks, issues, and results.We consider candidates for Senior Medical Director with experience in strategic development.Education:
MD, MB / BS or equivalent, with strong clinical experience in Rheumatology.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
