The Retail Planning & Performance Senior Analyst role supports the Manager in delivering reliable business insights by providing recurring and ad-hoc data analysis and reports to the Leadership team.
This candidate should be familiar with Retail sales organization, initiatives, and data to report performance in a structured manner and develop analytical models for decision-making.
To accomplish this, the P&P Senior Analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders within and outside the P&P team to ensure timely delivery.
Main Responsibilities
* Act as a sparring partner for the Retail P&P Manager and Retail Senior Management.
* Establish and own accurate and robust reporting processes to track Retail performance across different management levels.
* Lead specific projects or initiatives impacting Retail sales teams by supporting or taking ownership of the full project life cycle from conceptual work to implementation and tracking.
* Lead or participate in creating compelling presentations to communicate progress, enhance discussions, and facilitate decision-making; make recommendations in appropriate forums.
* Collaborate with regional Retail sales teams to analyze and understand performance related to initiatives and participate in developing action plans moving forward.
* Conduct detailed analysis when needed, often involving large amounts of data and/or feedback from regional teams.
* Assist or develop analytical models to support strategic and tactical decision-making processes related to Retail incentives, sizing, organization, etc.
* Establish trust and collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders, develop a strong network of contacts throughout the business, and gain support from key players.
* Leverage technology (Tableau, Salesforce) to drive automation and consistency in data related to specific initiatives managed.

Candidate Profile
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills; able to interpret, summarize, and present complex data sets clearly and succinctly; strong attention to detail.
* Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal and written); able to interpret, summarize, and present data and progress clearly and succinctly; able to influence business partners' decisions.
* Methodical and organized mindset.
* Results-oriented, dynamic individual with hands-on mentality and proactive attitude, able to take initiative to propose and lead individual pieces of work or solve problems with minimal supervision.
* Strong drive, capacity to push and make things happen while engaging with relevant key stakeholders.
* Team spirit and attitude, comfortable working in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Ability to build strong working relationships, create networks, and influence; proactive in engaging with the business.
* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* SQL skills are highly valued.
* Experience with data analysis and modeling software (Tableau) is valued.
