The Opportunity
Idoven is looking for a Financial Controller to contribute to building a high-performance financial engine able to operate in a scale up environment. We are looking for a proactive \"all-rounder\" who thrives in the fast-paced, evolving companies. Your primary mission will be to cover day-to-day financial operations and establish a rigorous financial infrastructure. You will help implement new workflows and scalable, automated foundations that can support our expansion.
Responsibilities
* Propose to Standardize and Implement Financial Processes: Move away from manual task management to implement sustainable, automated workflows for daily operations.
* System Integration: Solve current data silos by aligning our tools to ensure a single source of truth.
* Controlling: Build a clear mapping and tracking system to provide leadership with accurate, real-time reporting and traceability.
* Operational Excellence: Implement robust controls to prevent human errors and manual tasks.
* \"Hands-on\" Execution: While you have the hunger to grow, you are ready to \"get into the mud\" to resolve operational bottlenecks personally if needed.
Requirements
* Previous Experience: you have 5-6 years of total experience, ideally in Big 4, including at least 2 years in Audit department specifically (mandatory).
* Education: University Degree in Business Administration (ADE), Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Fluent in both English & Spanish: Professional working proficiency in both languages (C1 level) is mandatory.
* Relevant Experience: We are looking for a candidate who brings deep expertise in these areas:
* Administrative Control: Managing the full cycle of daily financial administration, from vendor payments to ensuring the accuracy of all documentation.
* Internal Financial Control: Designing and executing robust internal audit processes to prevent errors and secure company assets.
* Financial Reporting: Establishing a clear mapping and tracking system to provide leadership with the real-time, high-quality data needed for strategic decision-making.
* Knowledge: You are skilled at understanding and building financial systems from scratch, ensuring they are ready for future scale.
* Autonomous Problem Solver: You enjoy \"untangling\" processes to make them more efficient.
* Proactivity: We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in 'building mode' and doesn't wait for a roadmap to identify and fix inefficiencies.
* Future Leader: You will have a high degree of autonomy to transform our current manual workflows into scalable systems and you possess the technical depth and ambition to grow.
