We are offering an indefinite contract for the Data Governance Platform Engineer position.
Join our Data Management Services team to enhance, implement, and manage our company-wide data governance platforms : Databricks Unity Catalog and Collibra. Collaborate with team members to automate, optimize, and manage these platforms. Your expertise will help scale our cloud environment and integrate new technologies. Bring your platform skills and professionalism to be a key contributor in our data-driven organization.
Responsibilities
* Manage and innovate the Databricks Unity Catalog and Collibra Data platforms used across the company within the Data Governance focus area.
* Support and communicate with data engineers and other technical stakeholders to enable the creation of innovative data solutions and products using our Data Governance platforms.
* Perform Operations & Service Delivery tasks, including Change Management, Configuration Management, Lifecycle Management (LCM), and resolving complex incidents and problems.
* Ensure security and compliance are maintained according to company policies and procedures.
* Proactively enhance infrastructure availability and stability, including monitoring, reliability management, and developing automations via CI / CD pipelines on Azure Cloud.
Candidate Profile
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree and relevant thinking level.
* At least 3 years of experience in IT and change projects.
* Knowledge of Azure Cloud infrastructure, systems, and tools.
* Experience with Azure DevOps, especially setting up pipelines.
* Basic understanding of Data Management and Data Engineering.
* Proficiency in spoken and written English.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Good collaboration and communication skills.
* Experience working in an agile (Scrum) environment.
Optional Skills and Knowledge
* Experience with Bash, Azure CLI, PowerShell, REST API, and Terraform is advantageous.
* Knowledge of security and compliance is beneficial.
* Experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, and Collibra is a plus.
* Experience with AWS is an advantage.
