Date Posted : Country : Spain Location : Benjamín Outram 1, 28918 LEGANES, Spain Job Title : Sr Manager, Global Supplier Chain, EMEA Wire & Cable Role Overview : This individual will be responsible for driving and supporting EMEA regional initiatives and metrics for the Wire & Cable Category and other regional needs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Developing & implementing Business Unit category strategies to achieve year-over-year cost savings. Collaborating with regional Business Partners or general supply chain teams on EMEA category strategies for synergies. Updating (JDE) MRP part and supplier data requirements as necessary, depending on the business unit. Managing applicable requisitions (OH) as applicable. Supporting new product introductions, operational improvements (Lean), engineering changes, and work transitions. Facilitating and participating in cross-functional team meetings. Handling RFI’s, RFQ’s, analysis, business cases, and ROI assessments. Updating the RFQ log weekly, as applicable. Supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and updates. At the Business Unit level, this individual will manage cost savings projects, negotiate prices, handle COPQ negotiations, PPAP activities, and price escalations. They will also manage supplier performance, continuous improvement initiatives, and mitigation plans related to price, quality, and delivery. Basic Qualifications : 5-10 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or cost management. Knowledge or experience with lean manufacturing systems/processes and ERP/JDE configurations. Strategic planning and analytical skills with strong execution capabilities. Proficiency in Excel and other data manipulation tools. Ability to drive teamwork across groups and functions. Strong communication skills at all management levels. Project management, change management, and negotiation skills are a plus. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering is required. Preferred Qualifications : Master’s Degree. Knowledge of the elevator industry and/or field operations is highly desirable. Preferred Location : Gien, Madrid, Geneva, or other Otis EMEA entities.
