The Commercial Director is responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy of the HVAC business in Iberia, with full ownership of revenue, market share, and profitability across B2B and B2C channels.This role ensures the translation of business objectives into commercial plans and results, leading the sales organization and coordinating closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations to guarantee alignment and effective execution.
The Commercial Director defines and implements the commercial strategy and annual plan for the HVAC division in Iberia, holding full P&L responsibility and ensuring the achievement of revenue, margin, and profitability targets.The role leads and manages a sales organization of more than 30 people, including both direct and indirect reports, and oversees commercial activity across B2B channels such as distributors, installers, and key accounts, as well as B2C channels, ensuring consistency in execution and performance.The position is responsible for setting targets, monitoring performance, and implementing corrective actions when needed, as well as managing sales forecasting, pipeline tracking, and KPI monitoring to ensure data accuracy and reliability.In addition, the Commercial Director collaborates closely with Marketing and Product teams to align pricing, positioning, and go-to-market initiatives, while also developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.The role includes identifying new business opportunities and supporting the development of new channels or market segments, as well as ensuring regular and structured reporting to senior management and HQ on business performance, risks, and opportunities.
The Commercial Director leads, coaches, and develops the sales team, ensuring clear objectives, performance management, and continuous development. The role supports talent development and contributes to succession planning, while promoting a performance-driven culture aligned with company values and business objectives.
The position requires a degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, with an MBA considered a plus.Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial leadership roles within the HVAC or similar industries, with proven experience managing multi-channel environments including both B2B and B2C.Strong experience in P&L management and commercial execution is required, along with demonstrated leadership capabilities managing medium to large teams.Fluency in English is also required.
