Summarized Purpose:
Evidera is seeking a Sr Account Director, Business Development with proven skills in business development, client management, and stakeholder engagement to drive the success of our consulting practice areas.
We support executives at leading Biopharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Health IT companies using scientific research, data analysis, and extensive experience to inform critical commercial and development decisions, including product strategy, opportunity assessment, evidence generation, and market access strategies.
This role offers an entrepreneurial opportunity for candidates experienced in advising, winning new clients, and understanding life sciences and related markets, especially in RWE - Patient Centered Research and Data Analytics. Join a team where your efforts will be rewarded and impactful.
Essential Functions
* Client Account & Relationship Management
* Driving new business opportunities across consulting practice areas
* Strategic and tactical account planning in collaboration with research delivery teams
* Collaborating with sales, finance, legal, and support functions to close deals and meet sales targets
Qualifications
This role requires proactive sales activities targeting decision-makers and influencers, including defining solutions and pricing strategies aligned with strategic goals. The primary contact will manage client relationships until project kick-off, then coordinate with relevant teams for successful implementation. The role acts as a liaison between Evidera and PPD CRG for business development activities.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with relevant formal qualifications
* 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Direct sales experience in RWE consultancy services within biopharmaceutical and biotech accounts
* Proven ability to develop mid- and high-level business contacts
* Excellent interpersonal skills for managing and expanding relationships across departments
* Experience in lead development, professional presentations, sales process management, and contract negotiations
* Understanding of sales automation systems and Microsoft Office

Working Conditions and Environment:
* Office environment with occasional site visits and travel
* Travel up to 50%, including international trips
