The mission of this role is:
To evolve S&OP process, tools and people skills in line of business challenges, under continuous improvement philosophy.
To support the development of Demand & Supply Planning processes moving towards an Advanced S&OP environment, to facilitate the automation of processes and reporting.
To own the planning process, ensuring the process & tools are harmonized across the organization and cover Puig needs.
To ensure the correct knowledge for all planners, through training plans, sessions, and materials.
To support the planners on their day-to-day questions and troubleshoot any issues related to the planning tools.
What you'll get to do
Planning
Create a training plan for local Demand & Supply planners based on the skill matrix and improve knowledge, performance and accuracy.
Prioritize and coordinate new requirements, and act as a key user for functional designs.
Design and execute specific projects for both areas that help improve the performance of local DPs and SPs.
Act as the main point of contact between Demand and Supply planners and HQ.
Analyze opportunities and drive interdepartmental projects to improve D & SP procedures and KPIs.
Execute
Deploy harmonized Demand and Supply Planning processes & tools across subsidiaries.
Continuously improve existing processes & tools based on detected issues and internal best practices.
Assist planners in their day-to-day questions.
Define and create user views and reports in the planning tool to support the demand process.
Implement new business scenarios on the tool.
Integrate new markets, channels and categories into the S&OP process and tools.
Ensure product segmentation analysis by market based on volatility and demand patterns is performed.
Provide recommendations on the best planning model/strategy for each segment/demand pattern.
Take part in class A activities (follow-up, main contact for following actions).
Depending on necessity and scope, execute training sessions to local teams and new joiners on new procedures, tools or applications.
Control
Follow a sustainability process to assess skill gaps for D & SP.
Track overall D & S KPIs and look for corrective actions.
We'd love to meet you if you have
Experience: 3 years in Demand Planner role or other Supply Chain areas with international environment.
Education: Graduate in Engineering, Administration or similar; Master in Supply Chain is a plus.
Languages: Fluent English and Spanish are required.
Competencies: Drive for results, high analytical profile, holistic vision, team management and communication, organized, punctual, value oriented, business expertise.
Specific Knowledge: High skills in Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office software; user knowledge on planning tools like JDA, SAP APO, KINAXIX; SAP IBP strongly desirable.
