To support this expansion, we are looking to further strengthen our
Space Systems Engineering
capabilities with the goal of designing, structuring, and delivering high-value technological solutions across all phases of proposal development, system architecture, and mission design within our international projects.
What challenge will you be taking on?
Your main responsibilities will include:
Integrating ground segment solutions with the different elements that make up complex space missions.
Participating in the preparation of technical proposals (bids), ensuring technical consistency, feasibility, and added value for the customer.
Collaborating in the coordination of technical contributions across multiple subsystems, including Ground Segment components (such as MCS, FDS, MPS, and PDGS), as well as the satellite, launcher, operators, communication antennas, flight segment, payload data processing, and communications systems.
Contributing to effort estimation, technical planning, and risk assessment during the bidding and proposal phase.
Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders to define and negotiate competitive technical solutions.
Contributing to systems engineering activities and high-level architectural decisions within international environments.
What do we need in our team?
To be successful in this challenge, you should bring:
At least 5–8 years of experience in Space Systems Engineering or in other complex industries such as aerospace, defense, or telecommunications.
Experience with Ground Segment systems, including Monitoring & Control (M&C), operations, and mission data processing.
Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
In addition, the following are essential:
Fluent English.
Willingness to travel, primarily within Europe, with occasional travel to North America and Asia.
We would highly value:
Experience in proposal development, pre-sales, or complex bid engineering.
Knowledge of systems architecture tools and MBSE.
INCOSE or PMP certifications.
Knowledge of cloud computing applied to systems.
Familiarity with real mission environments (satellite operations, ground control systems).
Experience in institutional space programs or New Space initiatives.
Additional languages: German, French, or Italian.
