You'll update full schedule for medium and high critcality projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Managers, Operations, Sub Systems Manager and Chief of Development), be the central connector of project interfaces and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of the project schedule (internal and external), but also ensure the consistency of all the internal and external stakeholders.
We’ll look to you for:
* Update full schedule for medium and high criticality projects
* Work in close collaboration with a Project Manager / Chief of Development, Chief of Operations, Senior Project Planning Manager (PrPM), or Sub-System Manager (SSM),
* Serves as the central connector of project interfaces, steering execution through robust scheduling and proactive coordination.
* Is a visible and respected leader within the project team, fostering collaboration, maintaining momentum, and driving delivery excellence.
* Communicates efficiently at any level, adapting the communication to the audience both verbally and written.
* Owns the time management topic for their area, providing accurate and timely scheduling information to support decision-making and ensure the expected On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance of the project (tender, contract, or program execution),
* Responsible to develop and maintain the project schedule (internal and external) for his/her area,
* Ensure the consistency of all the internal and external Stakeholders commitments for their area, and manages the schedules interfaces,
* Perform schedule analysis & trade-offs to close identified gaps or schedule issues of their area,
* Organise and lead periodic project schedule sessions for his area,
* Provide a timely updated schedule situation highlighting the gap between the actual and the baseline,
* Focus on early identification of potential delays (critical paths) including the status on risks and margin related to schedule.
* Prepare schedule and progress reports.
* Provide support to sub-system manager on all issues related to sub-system project schedule (if applicable),
* Understand the risks linked to configuration changes, along with needed retrofits,

* Practical skills in MS Office software tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

* You are comfortable coordinating stakeholders across disciplines and communicating clearly with customers, suppliers, and technical teams.

* Professional project management certifications such as PMP®, PRINCE2®, or IPMA are an advantage.

The Composite Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution and delivery of composite projects.

The Composite Project Manager will act as the key point of coordination between technicians, management, and clients, overseeing all aspects of project lifecycle management from estimation to invoicing.

• Project Estimation & Proposals – Prepare accurate cost estimates and support the development of project proposals.
Project Management
• Project Scheduling & Planning – Develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and timelines to ensure successful project execution.
• Coordinating with technicians, suppliers, and clients to ensure work is completed to scope and specification.
• Invoicing & Financial Tracking – Manage project budgets, issue invoices in a timely manner, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Cost Tracking & Reporting – Track project costs throughout the lifecycle and provide regular updates to the Head of Department.
• Report Writing – Prepare clear and professional progress reports, project close-out reports, and client updates.
• Keep up to date with all project communication with the ability to provide knowledgeable input when necessary
• Manage and timely update project related technical documents ensuring accuracy and meeting project deadlines
• Review & provide feedback on drawings and schematics when requested using AutoCAD and 3D Design packages
• Manage project risk assessments and update the project risk matrix
• Complete on-site visits during the project to ensure that equipment, repairs or services have been completed on-time, in accordance to the specification and to an acceptable standard
• Able to communicate effectively with all parties involved within the project
• Manage project level financials, budgets and provide project reports when requested
• Manage multiple international projects and stakeholders English language at professional level is a must.
Other traits
Commercial, financial acumen, composite knowledge are critical.
Both passion for sailing and the knowledge of Spanish are a plus as well as a University degree.
Valid driver’s licence required.
