This is our Analytics Engineer, Web Analytics role, designed for those who strive to implement functional processes and drive them to full completion.
Responsibilities in the role:
1. GA4 & GTM Implementation & Management: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot GA4 and GTM for effective user behavior tracking, ensuring accurate data capture for internal platform products.
2. Tagging & Tracking: Develop tagging strategies, ensuring proper implementation and consistency across digital products.
3. Technical Data Integrations: Optimize and maintain integrations between GA4, other Google or third-party services to create seamless data flows.
4. Stakeholder Support: Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams for troubleshooting and implementing tracking needs.
5. Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain clear documentation of tracking implementations, standards, and best practices.
6. Training: Support internal teams through training sessions and ongoing assistance with analytics tools.
About the Analytics Team:
The Semrush Analytics team helps the company's employees analyze past events, accurately interpret the present, and predict the future — all through data analysis.
The team handles statistics, calculations, scoring, predictive models, clustering, multi-channel attribution, anomaly detection, and various queries from Marketing and Development teams. They also manage business metrics at the company level.
The team is split between offices in Europe and the US, and their passion for solving new challenges makes their work intriguing.
