Pre-Sales Engineer
An exciting opportunity for a motivated Pre-Sales Engineer to join a market leader in Quantum and AI, backed by major general strategic investors and strong EU support.
You will engage with clients, understand their challenges, and position our solutions to meet their needs. The ideal candidate will bridge technical expertise with strong communication skills, supporting the sales process by designing solutions, delivering demos, and advising customers on technical requirements.
This is initially a 9 Month Fixed Term Contract - Hybrid working from sites in Madrid or Barcelona.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales, product and engineering team teams to understand customer requirements and propose tailored technical solutions.
- Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations
- Contribute to RFP/RFI submissions with detailed technical input.
- Work with product and engineering teams to align customer needs with product capabilities.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-relevant language for clients.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies in AI, machine learning, and cloud infrastructure.
- Manage model delivery to our customers and trials for potential customers.
- Traveling: Must be available to travel as needed for meetings, conferences, and project requirements.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Junior: 1-2 years of experience in software engineering with focus on machine learning and data science.
- Mid: 2+ years of experience in software engineering with focus on machine learning and data science.
- Background in AI/ML, data science, or computer engineering, with hands-on experience in machine learning models (e.G., transformers, CNNs, ViTs, LLMs).
- Proficiency in Python, with exposure to ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead technical discussions with customers.
