Mabo Farma is a Spanish pharmaceutical company, part of the PharmaS group. We have a strong presence in the pharmacy channel, where we market an extensive portfolio of medicines and food supplements, complemented by a specific portfolio for the hospital channel.
About the Role
The diversity of our portfolio and the dynamics of the pharmaceutical market require a function capable of turning data into business decisions. This position joins the Strategy & Business Development team in a cross-functional role, combining portfolio management, Commercial Excellence, and participation in strategic projects with direct impact on the company's growth. The selected candidate will work closely with management and with different business areas, contributing to portfolio analysis and follow-up, commercial effectiveness initiatives, and the evolution of strategic projects. The initial focus of the role will be especially oriented towards portfolio management and commercial analysis, working in coordination with Sales, Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Supply, and Finance. The role reports directly to the Strategy & Business Development Director.
Responsibilities
Portfolio management and analysis
* Support the identification of opportunities to incorporate new products into the portfolio through market analysis, competitive assessment, and detection of gaps in our therapeutic areas.
* Contribute to the development of solid business cases to support launch decisions. Participate in product launches, supporting the coordination of the functions involved (Supply, Regulatory, Medical, Marketing, Sales, Market Access) and tracking delivery on time and scope.
* Track post-launch performance and provide insights with business implications.
* Support the analysis of end-of-life decisions on portfolio products, identifying those that are no longer profitable or strategic to guide product lifecycle decisions.
Commercial Excellence
* Tracking of commercial performance and KPIs, and evolution of the dashboards that support decision-making.
* Account segmentation model and sizing of commercial activity by territory.
* Support the design and tracking of objectives and incentive schemes, and the design of the commercial offer and promotions by line.
* Use of external data sources to produce market share, competitive evolution, and benchmarking insights.
Projects and continuous improvement
* Participate in cross-functional projects that drive the evolution and growth of the business.
* Support the coordination of internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure that delivered solutions respond to real business needs.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of commercial and portfolio management processes, identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
What we are looking for
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar.
* Experience: 1 to 3 years in commercial analysis, business analytics, sales operations, commercial excellence, strategy consulting, or equivalent roles. Open to candidates from pharma, medical device, or FMCG (consumer goods).
* Tools: Advanced Excel (essential). Comfort using AI tools to accelerate analysis and produce business-ready outputs.
* Languages: English at C1 level.
* Competencies: Solid analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable recommendations. Rigour in handling data and a strong action orientation. Comfort working cross-functionally with other areas. Autonomy to run several initiatives in parallel and communicate results clearly to management.
Nice to have, not essential
* Previous experience in pharma, parapharmacy, or the pharmacy channel. Familiarity with industry market data sources (IQVIA, Close-Up, CHC, or similar).
