Key Account Manager - Automotive
Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, they will be responsible for leading the management of strategic accounts in the automotive sector, driving business development through the identification of new opportunities, the negotiation of commercial agreements, and the coordination of complex projects in a highly competitive international environment.
Among the main responsibilities are:
* Manage and develop strategic relationships with major automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, acting as a trusted partner and ensuring excellent service.
* Identify, drive, and negotiate new business opportunities, contracts, and commercial agreements that create mutual value and strengthen long-term partnerships.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, production, quality) to ensure successful delivery of complex projects and provide specialized technical support.
* Provide market insights and strategic advice to clients, anticipating trends and needs to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.
* Represent the company at industry fairs and events, consolidating its position as an international leader in engineering plastics.
We are looking for a professional with a university degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in key account management business development, or sales in the automotive or other demanding industrial sectors. Experience in plastics or industrial manufacturing will be valued. Willingness to travel internationally and a fluent level of English are essential. Other European languages will be considered an advantage.
