At ASTEK Iberia, we are looking a for a Senior Java Developer (7+ years experience) to join a leading financial market infrastructure organization in Madrid. This role is focused on building and optimizing mission-critical post-trade systems used by major global financial institutions. Main responsibilities:
* Design and develop high-performance Java-based backend solutions for post-trade processing.
* Build scalable, resilient systems integrated with primary and secondary market trading platforms.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal security policies.
* Translate complex business requirements into robust, production-grade solutions.
* Work within an Agile (SCRUM / SAFe) cross-functional team environment.
Who are you?
* 7+ years of experience in Java (8+), including multi-threading and low-latency systems .
* Strong experience with Spring Boot, SQL, Hibernate, and database performance optimization.
* Experience designing systems for high-throughput financial transactions .
* Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems .
* Background in financial markets / trading environments is highly valued.
* Strong analytical mindset and experience in mission-critical environments.
