MissionThe Short Term Planner Engineer is responsible for short-term planning and aircraft routing, ensuring the effective execution of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in a 24/7 operational environment. Based in the Maintenance Operations Center (MOC), the role ensures fleet availability and continuous airworthiness compliance, while optimizing resource allocation and coordinating closely with operations and maintenance providers.Tasks & responsibilities- Is responsible for preparing work packages for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance works in AMOS.- Ensure that Vueling fleet is airworthy without any expired tasks.- Is responsible for A/C routing for maintenance in all network in coordination with OCC (Operations Control Center).- Coordinate with the maintenance provider for the work acceptance.- Organizing special skills, facilities and tooling.- Is responsible for tasks deassignment and re-planning.- Assist MOC engineers and Fleet Support Engineers to ensure provide the necessary work package for unscheduled event.Academic background- Aircraft Maintenance Technician qualification, Aerospace Engineering degree, or EASA PART-66 CAT-B1 or CAT-B2 license is required.Experience- Preferably 1 year of experience in a similar role.- No prior experience is required.Skills- Fluent in both English and Spanish, spoken and written, is required.- Ability to work collaboratively.- Excellent execution capacity.- Highly motivated, self-starter with strong business acumen and negotiation skills.Other- Timetable flexibility and availability.- Willing to work on shifts.- Advanced knowledge of Office.- Knowledge of AMOS and AIMS desirable.Vueling is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
