Job Description
- Demonstrate leadership in the field of hospitality and ensure consistent, high-quality service at all stages of hotel sales;
- Ensure that the products and services offered to guests meet or exceed their expectations;
- Provide loyal and attentive service to clients to develop long-term relationships and achieve business growth;
- Participate in annual business planning, forecasting, meetings with stakeholders, system trainings, report analysis, and profit and loss management;
- Hold meetings with clients to identify their needs and provide recommendations on products and services aligned with their goals;
- Discuss strategies and prepare action plans aimed at increasing sales and enhancing customer satisfaction;
- Monitor competitors’ activities to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement in existing operations;
- Develop and implement sales strategies focused on new products, services, and markets;
- Organize promotional events to increase sales potential and generate interest in products;
- Provide and implement suggestions to improve existing systems and internal procedures;
- Actively participate in budget analysis, preparation of annual budget plans, and expense planning;
- Lead the preparation, updating, and communication of departmental guidelines and procedure documents to staff;
- Update quarterly action plans and financial objectives to achieve established sales targets;
- Ensure timely and accurate sharing of information regarding events and group reservations with relevant departments;
- Define and implement effective strategies to achieve annual sales goals;
- Build and develop mutually beneficial partnerships with local and governmental suppliers to optimize revenues. Qualifications
- Higher education (a degree in Tourism and Hotel Management is preferred);
- Relevant experience in a similar position;
- Proficiency in Opera PMS Software, Opera Sales & Catering / Opera Sales Force Automation, Property Manager, and Microsoft Windows programs;
- Ability to stay calm, composed, and attentive to guests’ needs at all times;
- Adherence to professional telephone etiquette standards;
- Fluent in Spanish and English,
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment;
- Dynamic personality with a strong willingness to learn;
- Strong sales and presentation skills;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Management experience is considered an advantage;
