TITLE OF THE POSITION OFFERED: Researcher Doctor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Doctorate degree in Architecture.
In the case of degrees obtained abroad, they must prove that they have the corresponding validation or the credential that certifies, if applicable, the recognition.
WEEKLY DEDICATION: The position will be part-time, and the workweek will be 20 hours, carried out from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
GROSS ANNUAL REMUNERATION: The employee will receive an annual gross salary of 21.063,28 euros.
PROJECT TITLE: Processing of multispectral and thermal images in a GIS viewer.
DURATION: The validity of this contract will be linked to the budget availability of the research line. 'Innovative agricultural practices to contribute to environmental improvement and biodiversity in the Mar Menor area', reference NEWAGROMARMENOR_32, with the support of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge.
INTENDED DATE OF DEPUTY EMPLOYMENT: Immediate.
TASKS TO BE CARRIED OUT:
- Advanced analysis of satellite and drone images using specialised platforms (e.g. GIS Viewer), aimed at territorial studies, urban planning and sustainable management of the natural environment.
- Application of remote sensing and geospatial processing techniques to improve urban mobility, optimise green infrastructure and evaluate the maintenance of landscaped and agricultural areas.
- Determination of the water status, vegetative development and sustainability of urban and agricultural green areas through multitemporal and spectral analysis of satellite and drone images.
- Identification and classification of crop types in the irrigable area of the Campo de Cartagena, in order to generate strategic territorial information for agricultural planning and the design of landscape and sustainability policies.
- Integration of the results obtained into territorial management and urban planning models, contributing to the development of strategies that are resilient to climate change and the optimisation of water resources.
