Freelance contract: 2 year contract with ability of extension
Languages: Spanish and English B2+
We are looking for a Data Architect to join a dynamic tech team in the fashion & retail sector. This role is focused on hands-on development and ownership of key data architecture initiatives, especially around dbt and Airflow.
🔧 What we’re looking for:
* 2–3+ years of solid, hands-on experience with dbt (must-have)
* 4+ years of experience with Python or another object-oriented programming language
* Proven experience working with Apache Airflow for orchestration
* Bonus points for experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Glue, Athena, API Gateway, ECR/ECS)
* Familiarity with Databricks and/or Snowflake is highly valued
* Knowledge of CI/CD workflows, especially using Jenkins and Bitbucket
* A proactive mindset, a drive to learn, and strong ownership of technical challenges
👥 If you're based in Barcelona, we’d love to have you occasionally on-site — but we’re also open to remote candidates located anywhere in Spain.
