Job Summary
We're hiring a dynamic marketing leader to own and localize the Portwest brand across Southern Europe, a diverse and high-potential growth region. Covering countries like Italy, Spain, France, and others, this role requires cultural agility, strong B2B marketing acumen, and the ability to adapt messaging and strategy for varied customer behaviors and competitive landscapes. You'll be our regional lead — shaping campaigns, localizing assets, and building strong commercial alignment with our sales teams and distributors.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Market Localization & Campaign Strategy
* Develop Regional Strategy: Craft and implement a localized marketing strategy across Southern European markets, balancing central brand direction with regional specificity.
* Tailored Messaging: Adjust language, tone, and visuals to suit cultural and linguistic differences across France, Spain, Italy, and other key countries.
* Campaign Execution: Activate multi-channel campaigns (digital, print, events) with sensitivity to local buying cycles and market maturity.
Sales Support & Channel Marketing
* Build regional distributor support tools tailored to different countries' needs (e.g., product launches, content formats, campaign timing).
* Lead the planning and execution of regional trade shows (e.g., Expoprotection, Sicur, A+A) and coordinate event presence to maximize brand exposure and lead generation.
* Run localized email and digital campaigns that drive demand across countries and industries.
Regional Advocacy & Operational Alignment
* Act as the point of contact between local market needs and Global HQ, ensuring faster alignment on product launches and asset development.
* Manage local marketing vendors (agencies, translators, print providers) and coordinate with global teams for unified output.
* Advocate for product adjustments based on local customer insights (e.g., sizing, colours, fits).
Cross-Cultural Leadership
* Represent regional marketing in internal meetings and contribute Southern European insights to global strategy discussions.
* Prepare the foundation for country-specific marketers as growth accelerates, helping future-proof regional expansion.
Requirements
* Fluency in at least two Southern European languages (Italian, Spanish, French) and English.
* 5–8+ years of marketing experience in international B2B or industrial sectors.
* Proven ability to manage multi-country strategies and adjust campaigns to suit different cultures.
* Familiarity with regional trade events and distributor-led sales models.
* Strong project management, creative briefing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
