In this role you will originate and manage high-yield private credit opportunities in infrastructure and energy, shaping the fund’s strategy and ensuring disciplined risk management. You will work closely with senior management to structure, negotiate, and monitor investments, while coordinating reporting to investors and supporting fundraising. The position combines hands-on execution with strategic development in a fast-growing infrastructure equity space. This is an opportunity to impact a global portfolio within Santander’s Investment platform and to mentor a high-performance team.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Originate and preliminarily evaluate infrastructure and energy high-yield opportunities across geographies
• Structure transactions and draft screening materials, investment committee memoranda, and related docs
• Conduct due diligence (financial, legal, ESG, regulatory, technical) and model cash flows
• Assess debt service capacity, downside scenarios, and investment resilience through detailed financial modelling
• Prepare materials for investment committee and coordinate negotiations of term sheets and financing agreements
• Lead execution of approved transactions and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor portfolio performance, covenant compliance, ESG reporting, and financial performance tracking
• Support fundraising activities and participate in investor communications and NAV reviews
• Collaborate with senior management to develop new investment strategies and thematic priorities
• Mentor junior colleagues and foster a high-performance investment culture
Responsabilidades
• 10-15 years of experience investing in infrastructure & energy credit within an asset manager or alternative lender
• Proven origination, analysis, structuring, and execution of junior infrastructure credit investments
• Thorough due diligence xpzdshu and risk analysis capabilities for infrastructure credit
• Experience negotiating term sheets and credit agreements with robust transaction structures
• Portfolio monitoring, fund reporting, and involvement in NAV calculation and oversight
• Experience supporting fundraising activities and preparing marketing and DD materials
• Bachelor's or Master’s in relevant fields; CFA/CAIA or equivalent preferred
