Do you love customer service and enjoy being at the heart of a busy, people-focused environment? We are looking for a Receptionist to join our team and help us create an exceptional experience for our students, residents, and guests.

As the face of the residence, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of reception: welcoming residents and visitors, handling queries and complaints, supporting check-ins and check-outs, coordinating with other departments, and helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Be the first point of contact for students, residents, and guests, delivering a friendly, professional, and welcoming experience at all times.
- Manage reception operations, including queries, complaints, check-ins, check-outs, room readiness, payments, welcome documentation, and student account charges.
- Build strong relationships with residents, resolving issues quickly and effectively to support customer satisfaction, retention, and recommendation.
- Coordinate requests with Maintenance and Housekeeping and support the Residence Manager with administration and general office duties.
- Monitor guest access, key handling, and general building security, reporting any concerns when necessary.
- Manage mail, parcels, and in-house requests such as tenancy extensions, room moves, and tenancy transfers.
- Support sales enquiries, lettings, and property viewings, while working closely with Finance, Sales, Housekeeping, and Maintenance.
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and values are reflected in every part of the role through excellent customer service.

Requirements:

- Minimum B2 level in English.
- Positive, proactive, and organised team player with great communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for customer service.
- Previous experience in reception, hospitality, or customer service is a plus. xcskxlj

Position Details:

- Temporary summer role
- Start date: As soon as possible
- 40 hours per week, with rotating shifts Monday to Sunday
