What is the opportunity?
As an intern in RBC's Madrid office, you will support the marketing and execution of M&A;, debt, equity and other financial advisory services.
What will you do?
- Assisting in execution of mandated deals
- Assisting in preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materials
- Gathering public information through numerous sources
- Creating financial model analyses
- Generating discounted cash flow models and other models for valuation metrics
- Building company forecast models
- Drafting marketing documents such as Confidential Information Memorandums for financings and/or M&A; assignments
- Producing and maintaining various databases
- General research
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
- University degree or equivalent. Ideally recently graduated Masters student or Masters student with no further classes and only an internship to complete
- Must be available to work full time from beginning of March 2026 to end of September 2026
- Hardworking, resilient, enthusiastic and professional work ethic
- Sound judgement with strong analytical and quantitative skills and high attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and develop relationships with clients at all levels
- Teamwork approach with colleagues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer software skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Fluency in English and Spanish
