About the Role
Set up and maintain infrastructure for Next.js apps and microservices. Build CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and ensure high availability.
Critical Skills
- AWS certification (Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer)
- Terraform or CloudFormation (Infrastructure as Code)
- Docker + ECS/EKS orchestration
- Atlassian Suite (Bitbucket Pipelines)
- Monitoring stack (Dynatrace)
Desired Experience
- Multi-region deployments and disaster recovery
- Blue/green deployments with zero downtime
- Security best practices (IAM, KMS, VPC design)
- Cost optimization strategies
- Incident response and on-call experience
Must Have
- 3+ years AWS production experience (ECS, RDS, CloudFront, S3)
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI)
- Container orchestration (Docker, ECS/EKS)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Monitoring & logging (Dynatrace, DataDog, CloudWatch)
Responsibilities
- Set up AWS infrastructure (ECS, RDS Multi-AZ, ElastiCache)
- Build CI/CD pipelines for Nx monorepo (affected builds)
- Configure CDN and load balancers
- Implement monitoring and alerting
- Manage blue-green deployments
Nice to Have
- Kubernetes (EKS) experience
- Security best practices (IAM, secrets management)
- Cost optimization strategies
