Business Development Manager
Salary: €40,000-€60,000
Location: West Spain & Portugal
We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager for possibly one of the most exciting businesses we have partnered with in the past 12 months.
This is a newly created role for an organisation who are scaling at phenomenal pace, leading the West Spain & Portugal territory.

In this fast paced, client facing B2B role, the successful candidate will spend 80% of their time on the road, building and strengthening partnerships directly with retail stores.
The day-to-day duties for the successful Business Development Manager will include:
- Taking full responsibility for the retail stores in your territory, mapping each of these and continually identifying new opportunities for prospect clients.
- Building and maintaining relationships with a volume of retail stores, continually promoting all of the products and services at your disposal.
- Developing and maintaining strong collaborations with local manufacturers to strengthen industry ties.
- Continually demonstrating exceptional negotiation skills, securing the most favourable purchasing conditions through effective negotiations.
- Developing strong networks across your region, to ensure that you are the partner of choice for the products and services that you offer.
- Streamlining procurement processes to maximise efficiency and ensure consistent product quality.
What we are looking for:
- 3+ years of experience across sales, business development, purchasing or account management.
- High willingness and enthusiasm to travel at least 4 working days per week, with regular overnight stays.
- A proven track record of developing relationships across all levels, from CEO’s of large scale manufacturers to owners of local retail stores.
- The ability to work at pace as part of a business which favours speed.
- A robust track record of securing favourable terms through strong negotiation skills.
