PbProject Manager – Solar BESS /b /ppbr/ppSR2 has recently started supporting an international IPP who are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage (BESS) projects (20MW+) across Spain. /ppbr/ppYou will take full ownership from late-stage development through construction and commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. /ppbr/ppThis is a high-impact role within a fast-growing renewables platform, operating at the forefront of Spain’s energy transition. /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities: /b /pulliLead the end-to-end execution of Solar PV and BESS projects from Ready-to-Build (RtB) through to COD /liliManage EPC contractors, technical advisors, and key suppliers /liliOversee project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management /liliCoordinate with internal teams across development, grid, engineering, finance, and asset management /liliEnsure compliance with Spanish regulatory, permitting, and grid connection requirements /liliManage grid connection and energisation processes in collaboration with utilities and TSOs/DSOs /liliMonitor construction progress, conduct site visits, and ensure adherence to HSE standards /liliLead stakeholder engagement, including local authorities, landowners, and partners /liliDrive resolution of technical and commercial issues during execution /liliSupport handover to OM/Asset Management teams /li /ulpbr/ppbRequirements: /b /pulliProven experience managing utility-scale Solar PV projects (20MW+) in Spain /liliExperience with BESS projects (design, integration, or delivery) highly desirable /liliStrong understanding of EPC contracts (FIDIC or similar) /liliKnowledge of Spanish grid connection processes and regulatory frameworks /liliExperience managing budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams /liliEngineering degree (Electrical, Civil, or related field preferred) /liliFluent Spanish and English (essential) /liliWillingness to travel across project sites in Spain /li /ulpbr/ppbDesirable Skills: /b /pulliExperience working with IPP, developer, or EPC environments /liliFamiliarity with energy storage integration, hybrid plants, or co-location strategies /liliStrong commercial acumen and contract negotiation experience /liliPMP or equivalent project management certification /li /ulpbr/ppbWhat’s on Offer /b /pulliOpportunity to work on large-scale, high-impact renewable projects /liliExposure to cutting-edge Solar + BESS developments /liliDynamic and growing international environment /liliCompetitive salary (up to €85,000) + bonus, and benefits package /liliFlexible working model /li /ul
