PeopleSoft Project Manager Where: Barcelona, Spain Company: A leading global insurance and asset management company delivering financial protection and investment solutions worldwide via Talent-C Type of Contract: Permanent Contract or Freelance Salary: 400/450€ daily rate; Max 60/65k € (depending on experience) Mission Description A global insurance and asset management leader providing financial protection and investment solutions worldwide is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager on PeopleSoft that will be responsible for leading and overseeing the deployment of the PeopleSoft system across the organization. This role involves coordinating all IT aspects of the project, from planning and execution to go-live and post-implementation support, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget. Job Key Responsibilities Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for the PeopleSoft rollout in Mexico. Coordinate with stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, and external vendors, to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables. Lead the configuration, customization, and testing of the PeopleSoft system by integrating in and out interfaces to meet the specific needs of the Spanish operations. Handle change management activities, including communication, training, and user support. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards related to data security, privacy, and reporting. Facilitate smooth go-live and provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement. ️ Essential technical qualifications: Strong knowledge of setting up PeopleSoft Financials 9.1, 9.2 or higher (modules AP, AR, Billing, GL, CM, PC and CA). Considerable knowledge of architecture, Peoplesoft landscape and interfaces in / out. Strong Experience in PeopleSoft roll out and migration from other ERP (eg data migration). Experience in Agile Methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). Strong experience in ERP projects from study, design to build, UAT (Experience in Test Driven delivery) and Production migration; post go live support. As IT PM ability to manage scope, budget, planning, security, data privacy demands through steerco, regular meetings. Finance skills mandatory Interpersonal skills: Strong leadership and communication skills. Involved with other teams supports to obtain inputs for the correct development of his/her job. Ability to manage stakeholders and business demands. Ability to be interfaced between technical and business teams by translation of exchanges. Problem solving skills. Innovative thinking.
