Position: Dietary Aide
As a Dietary Aide, you will work closely with our dining services team. You will be responsible for setting tables, bussing tables, washing dishes, assisting the cook as needed, completing cleaning duties and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Set and buss tables; clean and maintain dining areas.
- Assist the cook as needed and support the dining services team.
- Complete cleaning duties and ensure high standards of sanitation and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess all required licenses and/or certifications if required by State licensing authority and maintain continuing education requirements.
- Six (6) months’ prior experience in a food service department preferred.
- Obtain Food Handler’s Permit as required by State regulations.
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Honesty, fairness, dependability, and respect for confidentiality and privacy.
- Effective communication with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.
- Must meet health requirements and pass background checks.
