Job Title: Project Manager (Naval Communications)
Join Rohde & Schwarz as a Project Manager (Naval Communications) at our Madrid office. We are seeking a professional focused on Naval Projects for domestic customers, responsible for managing, executing, and monitoring projects from initiation to customer acceptance, ensuring compliance with specifications, budget, and deadlines.
Your Responsibilities
* Participate in sales and project initiation by analyzing customer requirements and assessing technical feasibility.
* Support contract negotiations alongside the Bid Manager.
* Engage with external providers, project teams, and other stakeholders during project initiation.
* Manage and oversee project execution until customer acceptance.
* Negotiate scope or schedule changes with clients and internal teams.
* Plan tasks, lead teams, and allocate resources to meet milestones.
* Report on project status, risks, and issues.
* Monitor financial aspects and forecast future trends.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary teams involved in the project.
* Lead project status meetings with internal teams and clients.
* Ensure compliance with quality, security, and military standards.
Your Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering (telecom, aeronautic, naval, or industrial).
* Proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in defense or naval/aeronautic sectors.
* Technical knowledge of radiocommunications systems.
* Experience working with customers, partners, and providers globally.
* Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
* Knowledge of project management tools, standards, and best practices (PMI).
