We are looking for a Site Supervisor to work for large sites such as Microsoft data centers from site preparation through deliveries, construction and testing phases. As Site Supervisor you will coordinate daily operational work at the site, represent Eaton, lead safety and quality reviews, and oversee site meetings, planning, coordination, and safety. For distant locations (EMEA) the role requires a six‐week on‐site rotation followed by one week at home.
What You'll Do
* Health and Safety Oversight: ensure a safe working environment by initiating, monitoring, and reviewing work procedures, conducting toolbox talks, and performing daily risk assessments.
* Project Representation: act as the representative of the Project Manager on‐site and during local coordination meetings.
* Site Coordination: direct and coordinate daily site works for Eaton and third‐party suppliers to ensure efficient operations.
* Resource Management: identify and report gaps in resource quality and quantity to the Project Manager, aiding in planning and adherence to schedules.
* Communication: provide regular written updates to the Project Manager regarding work performed, issues encountered, and planning for upcoming tasks.
* Profitability and Resource Utilisation: ensure effective use of resources to meet profitability expectations and formally raise unforeseen constraints to the Project Manager.
* Extra Work Documentation: identify and document any extra work requests from parties and notify the Project Manager.
* Testing Oversight: serve as the testing auditor for on‐site testing and commissioning practices.
* Team Leadership and Training: lead the on‐site service team and vendors to follow defined procedures, organise training sessions, and ensure high‐quality standards in service delivery while managing complaints professionally.
Qualifications
* 5–8 years of experience in similar roles.
* Strong electrical background or electrician training and/or project working experience (ideal).
Skills
* Health and Safety Expertise: strong knowledge and experience in Health and Safety and Quality Management on construction sites, particularly in power distribution.
* Project Execution: proven experience in executing delivery projects, including electrical work, field service, and commissioning.
* Technical Proficiency: ability to interpret technical drawings and documents, and proficiency in MS Office and MS Project. Knowledge of data centers is a plus.
* Communication and Interpersonal Skills: excellent communication and organisational skills, self‐motivated with strong people skills, and the ability to work effectively with customers. Flexibility and adaptability are essential.
