**Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Manage complex projects/programs (multiple targets, phase II and phase III, over 10M Eur annual budget)
- Coordinates with Project Leader defining the strategic plans and scenarios internally and with the partner.
- Provide inputs to the strategic discussions within the team and the Project Leader
- Act as back-up of the Project Leader when needed.
- Monitors and analyzes project critical path, timelines, budget expenses and actions to meet project goals.
- Looks beyond existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems in areas critical to the achievement of objectives.
- Ensures delivery within area of responsibility, linking with other parts of the organization.
- Anticipates, identifies, and promptly resolves discrepancies in priorities, plans and activities: bring analytical thinking to the team discussions, particularly in cross-functional issues.
- Manages project communication, sets agendas, facilitates meetings, develops minutes, and ensures right distribution of project information in the organization.
- Facilitate team dynamics in coordination with the Project Leader (System Coach)
- Reports and presents project plans, risk management activities and budget aspects to decision making bodies.
- Develops the budget and regular forecasts of the project (annual, 5YF, Long term)
- Leads the process to access public funding of all or part of the project.
- Coordinates project due diligence with possible partners. Oversight BD&L; development plans.
- Coordinate, mentor and advise Project Managers and Project Manager Associates.
- Participates in all activities within the R&D; Project, Portfolio, Partnership Excellence Department as required.
- Contributes to the regular R&D; Portfolio Review exercise.
- Maintains and exploits R&D; productivity benchmarking data.

- Bachelor’s or Ph.D. degree on biomedicinal or scientific careers.
