Regional Construction Project Manager - Madrid
A leading data center operator, present and expanding across the Iberian Peninsula, is seeking a Regional Project Manager to strengthen its Construction Project Delivery team, supporting the execution of multiple concurrent data center construction projects.
This role sits between the on-site Project Managers and the Project Director, acting as a key coordination and consolidation point across all active projects. With responsibility for providing a 360° view of delivery performance, you will ensure that the Project Director has clear, structured, and prioritised information and act in a leading position representing the company in all on-going projects.
The focus of the role is firmly on construction delivery, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment across multiple sites. You will act as the central point of contact for Project Managers, filtering key risks, issues, and progress updates, and translating these into clear executive-level reporting.
This is a senior delivery role requiring strong construction experience within data center or mission-critical environments, with the ability to manage teams, oversee complex programmes, and operate confidently in fast-paced, multi-project environments.

Responsibilities
* Act as the central coordination point between multiple Project Managers and the Project Director across all active data center construction projects
* Consolidate project updates into a clear 360° portfolio view, highlighting key risks, issues, and priorities
* Filter and escalate critical project information to the Project Director in a structured and decision-ready format
* Support and oversee construction delivery across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with programme, budget, quality, and safety targets
* Provide guidance and oversight to Project Managers across delivery, procurement, and contractor coordination activities
* Monitor construction progress across all projects and ensure consistent reporting standards across the portfolio
* Support procurement activities including contractor engagement, bid evaluations, and supply chain coordination
* Ensure effective management of on-site execution activities through the Project Management team
* Track and challenge project performance metrics including cost control, schedule adherence, and risk mitigation
* Coordinate cross-functional input from engineering, design, procurement, and operations teams
* Escalate and manage key delivery risks, ensuring timely resolution or mitigation
* Support the Project Director in strategic decision-making through accurate and consolidated reporting
Required Skills
* Strong background in construction delivery within data centers, industrial, or mission-critical environments
* Proven experience managing or overseeing project teams in complex infrastructure programmes
* Strong understanding of procurement, construction execution, and project delivery processes
* Ability to operate at both site execution and portfolio management level
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
* Excellent ability to structure, filter, and prioritise complex information
* Strong communication skills with experience reporting to senior leadership
* Hands-on, delivery-focused mindset with strong commercial awareness
* Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline
* 10–15+ years of overall experience in construction or infrastructure delivery roles
* 3–5+ years of direct data center or mission-critical project experience considered sufficient if highly relevant and hands-on
* Proven experience managing teams or coordinating multiple project managers or workstreams
* Strong exposure to on-site construction environments and contractor management
* Good understanding of procurement, contracts, and construction delivery processes
* Fluent in English and Spanish
