#About the role
We are looking for a Part Time Lead Instructor for our AI Product Management Bootcamp in our Remote campus. This role is responsible for delivering the bootcamp curriculum, guiding students through the full product lifecycle, and ensuring students successfully acquire the skills required to become AI-powered Product Managers.
The instructor will facilitate a highly practical program covering product management fundamentals, AI-assisted workflows, MVP development, and go-to-market strategy. The program emphasizes real-world tools and project-based learning across the entire product lifecycle.
# Responsibilities
The Ironhack experience
Oversee the whole academic experience of the Ironhack bootcamp
* Teach at our remote campus every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, from April 14th through mid-October.
* Manage the Teaching Assistant to support the success of the class
* Facilitate a safe, supportive, and energetic community that welcomes the various needs and learning styles of your students.
* Inspire students to translate ideas into structured product solutions and real-world product strategies.
* Support students as they develop their professional interests and prepare for careers in product management.
* Collaborate with Program Managers and Career Advisors to ensure that students achieve their professional goals (i.e., job seeking)
* dminister assessment tasks and give students timely and accurate feedback on learning outcomes
The Ironhack experience (Course Delivery)
* Teach core topics including product management fundamentals, Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), user stories, product discovery, and roadmap development, while integrating AI tools into the product workflow.
* Guide students in using industry tools to create product documentation, manage backlogs, prototype solutions, and develop AI-assisted MVP concepts.
* Lead hands-on projects and practical activities that simulate real product development cycles, from discovery and validation to MVP creation and go-to-market strategy.
* Ensure students achieve the program learning outcomes, such as writing PRDs, building roadmaps and backlogs, designing MVP prototypes, and using AI tools to support product research, decision-making, and performance monitoring.
Collaborate with Global Team
* Collaborate with the Education team to improve the curriculum
* Work with the global team in the rollout of new teaching materials
* Adapt our global curriculum and use it to guide your teaching, build your own lesson plans as needed, and contribute back your lessons learned over time.
* Create engaging content for our AI Product Management courses that may include lessons, exercises, and/or mini-projects
Community Building
* Create a sense of community / Participate in the student experience by joining events
* Facilitate a supportive and energetic community that lasts well beyond the course
# Requirements
* You have 3-5 years of experience in product management, or a related field, preferably in digital products or technology environments
* You are fluent in english, as the classes will be imparted in that language; all in-company communication will be in english
* You are passionate about data technologies and teaching.
* You are experienced working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
* You are familiar working with AI tools used in product workflows.
* You have experience with product discovery, roadmap planning, and MVP development.
* You successfully created new techniques and materials
* You can adjust lessons plan to take into account the learning success and difficulties
* You can give clear instructions and organize an activity with guidance of the PM or TA.
* You can alternate between teaching the whole class and pair or group work giving clear instruction.
* You have experience in managing and keeping a team motivated
* You proactively anticipate potential problems and take the necessary action to avoid them
* You have great communication skills and an ability to capture people's attention
* You are organized, reliable, communicative, open to feedback
* You enjoy teaching/mentoring others that are involved in the tech community
