Work Based Learning Program - Data Center TechnicianAmazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking Data Center Technicians as part of our Work Based Learning Program (WBLP). This trainee position requires the successful candidate to report to a site location and involves a 12‑month work and training program in one of our facilities in Huesca or Zaragoza. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure and supports all data center and related equipment.You’ll join a diverse team of engineers, specialists and managers and help deliver safety, security, and high service availability. The role involves server rack installations, hardware break‑fix, network troubleshooting, and operational incident response.NOTE: Amazon is not able to provide immigration sponsorship now or in the future for these positions. Eligible candidates must have work authorization without employer intervention to be considered.Key job responsibilities- Performing server rack installations, hardware break‑fix on various components, troubleshooting network issues, and responding to operational incidents that impact service availability, escalating to senior technicians and management as needed/required.- Performing server upgrades, rebuilds, scheduled works as required.- Working to meet SLA’s against assigned trouble tickets via a directed workflow.- Being first line touch point for hardware troubleshooting and technical issues.- Identifying and help create process improvements relevant to the data center environment.- Successfully completing the 12‑month Work Based Learning Program training curriculum, including all required safety certifications, technical competencies, and performance milestones.Physical Requirements (reasonable accommodations available)- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds;
