The Role
As Assistant to the Regulatory Affairs Department, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the unit and its team. You will provide essential administrative and organisational support to the Department Director and its Advisors, helping them focus on their core work. Your responsibilities will range from coordinating internal duties, reporting and communications within our member banks and external stakeholders, especially with regard to organisation of committees and task-force meetings and supporting day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Regulatory Affairs Department Director and staff (around 8 people)
* Manage the agenda of the Department’s Director.
* Assist with documents’ publication and communication within member banks and external stakeholders including proofreading, formatting, and preparing summaries.
* Organise meetings and logistics:
* Schedule and manage virtual meetings (mainly via Microsoft Teams).
* Arrange meeting rooms for face-to-face meetings.
* Support departmental events and travel arrangements.
* Carry out general administrative duties and maintain simple databases.
* Perform other support tasks as required.
* Manage distribution lists and participants lists for Committees, Taskforces and Working Groups.
* Manage and update accreditations for Departments members within the European Institutions.
Profile
* Previous experience in an assistant or administrative role is preferred; experience in an international or financial environment is a plus but not required.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
* Fluency in English (native level); knowledge of other EU languages is an asset.
* Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint
