We are currently looking for a Corporate Legal Advisor. You will provide legal advice to the organization on matters related to law in your specific fields of responsibility as per the organizational chart of the Legal Department, including, among others: secretarial and corporate governance, commercial and business contracts (e.g., distribution, agency, franchise, general sales conditions), and facilities and service contracts (procurement and IT solutions), ecommerce/digital and consumer law, personal data, and other general corporate legal matters.
In more detail, your role will entail…
* Being in charge of the legal corporate area within the Legal Department and reporting directly to the Head of Legal.
* Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating all legal contracts, internal policies, and documents related to the legal corporate area from a cross and international perspective.
* Managing daily legal-corporate issues related to Desigual's subsidiaries/companies around the world to ensure compliance with local corporate requirements.
* Managing daily legal issues to ensure Desigual compliance with specific legal fields including, but not limited to, antitrust matters, personal data protection, ecommerce/digital, and consumer sales protection and compliance.
* Managing and following up on claims from third parties and inspections from public authorities, including monitoring external advisors on judicial claims and inspections.
* Coordinating and interacting with other areas/departments within the organization.
* Providing legal advice to other areas and departments, and coordinating internal queries and cross-projects.
* Executing and implementing projects to improve and grow the Legal Area and its processes.
* Carrying out administrative tasks related to the role, including coordination with external advisors and service providers, and budgeting.
You are the person we are looking for if you have…
* Bachelor's Degree or similar in Law from a reputable college.
* Master's Degree or equivalent in international Business Law; an LLM is a plus.
* At least 5 years' experience in a reputable Spanish law firm and in a multinational company. Experience in a multinational retail fashion company is highly valued.
* Knowledge of the retail fashion industry is highly desirable.
* Fluent in Spanish and English. French, German, or Italian is a plus.
